I have worked with Local authority social services within the Thames valley region. Work has included developing relationships and ways of working together within various professionals disciplines, including partners in social care, education and health. I am experienced in:

- designing and implementing therapeutic models of care fo education and residential care services
- Offering service evaluation and feedback
- Shaping organisational culture and values to ensure effective service delivery and viability (systemic group functioning and development)
- Working within statutory frameworks and with outmeasures for teams with minimal psychological awareness
Consultancy for social workers, foster-carers and education professionals
Often it is difficult to align detrimental childhood experiences (ACES) with learning. Interrupted development can impair interest and ability to learn. Or engagement in play or family activity that we would expect to see, given the young person's chronological age. I help professionals to conceptualise and understand the young person's world, so that this can be translated into a formulation for engaging with the world at a pace they can cope with and for regard for their tolerance.
